To apply for a Retirement Visa, one must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 55 years old
- Invest a minimum of AED 1 million in one or more existing properties (no off-plan properties) or invest a minimum of AED 1 million in a deposit with a local bank
(The deposit cannot be withdrawn within 5 years).
The application and process for a Retirement Visa varies somewhat from applicant to applicant. The duration of the visa is five yearsand can only be maintained as long as the investor owns real estate or a deposit.
To apply for an investor visa, one must meet the following requirement:
- Invest a minimum of AED 750.00 in one or more existing properties (no off-plan properties).
The duration of the visa is three years and can only be maintained as long as the investor owns real estate.
Only recently the Golden Visa was introduced. To apply for the Golden Visa, one must meet the following condition:
- Invest a minimum of AED 2 million in one or more existing properties (no off-plan properties).
The duration of the visa is 10 yearsand can only be maintained as long as the investor owns real estate.
